Long Time, No See

I know, I know ... I've been neglectin' you. I have been all over the place doin' so many things that I lost track of time. Don't hate me.

I love you. You know that.

Well, since I've been gone, I've been workin' on a few things.

First, I'll be guest starrin' on the Rivership Romance on occasional Fridays while fillin' in for Florida's own Dame Edna on the "Draggin' the River" cruises. It's only $15 for the cruise, plus full bar and a menu of some really delicious appetizers and such. 2.5 hours on the St. John's River with yours truly. You don't wanna miss it.

Then, in September, I'll be appearin' in my very own cabaret show "Mitzi Morris: New Girl in Town" at the Parliament House. I have a fabulous accompanist, John deHaas, who will be ticklin' my ivories and yours, while I tell stories of my past and sing you some songs. It's guaranteed to be a hoot.

I'll try to be back here more often -- I promise -- so keep watchin' this space. I'll also be postin' more info about the shows. I hope you can make it!

On a final note: I found somethin' that a glamor girl like myself can't be without. I'll let the ad explain it for itself.

A Funny Thing Happened ...

... in 1983.

I starred in the Topeka Players' of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" way back in the summer of 1983. I played Philia, the virginal, young ingenue-slash-courtesan (that means Greek whore).

Well, I was diggin' through some old boxes and found a few production photos, so I had my neighbor upload them into the computer and here they are.

Oh, those were the days -- I looked so young back then. Don't ya think?
